When I arrived at our meeting point - BMW of San Diego - I found an over-zealous Reed had arrived 3 hours early.

Once the other folx arrived, we officially became the '98 Homecoming California Convoy

Once East of San Diego, the scenery turned rather barren

And to save the space and bandwidth, here is what it looked like...all 400 miles, 115 degrees F, of it

This being a short drive day, we arrived in Casa Grande early enough to enjoy a fine meal at one of the local 4 star establishments, and a beautiful sunset
